Youth Wrestling
Welcome to FWC!
Practices for the 2023-24 season are be Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 6:15-7:30 PM in the SMCC wrestling room. 108 W Elm Ave.
The 2023-24 Youth wrestling season will take place January 23rd through March 21st 2024. Cost of participating in the club is $35 and includes an FWC Team T-shirt. (Wrestlers who wish to compete in tournaments will be able to compete in our local Monroe county area tournaments).
Our Youth Club is open to wrestlers ages 6-10 in the Monroe County area. The emphasis is on learning and getting better everyday rather than winning and losing. There will be local Monroe county tournaments for those wrestlers who wish to compete.
Wrestling will make our youth better at all other sports. Life skills and success principles that young people develop while wrestling are valuable in all aspects of life. Wrestling is one of the greatest sports there is for helping kids build character, develop self-confidence, improve discipline, and strengthen their will to succeed. But most importantly we want kids to have fun!
